Energy Finance for Business Owners

August 22, 2016

The Alaska Small Business Development Center will be co-hosting an event with the Fairbanks Economic Development Corporation on September 14, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Cold Climate Housing Research Center in Fairbanks.

The event is titled “Energy Finance for Business Owners.” The goal of the event is to help commercial building owners by connecting them with the financing, equipment, and services that they need to save money on energy.

At the meeting, the following topics will be discussed:

  • What energy efficient equipment or services are available from local vendors?
  • How do you move forward with implementing energy solutions?
  • How do you evaluate the financial or other benefits of energy efficiency solutions?
  • How do you make the most out of tax credits and deductions?

The event will feature a number of local energy service providers, accountants, and financiers who have real-world experience with making energy efficiency work for businesses in Alaska.

The event is free to attendees, but space is limited!

If you are interested in presenting your energy efficiency business, accounting services, or financial services at this event, please email adam.krynicki@aksbdc.org
