Juneau Center Director
The Juneau Center Director will work one-on-one with small business owners and entrepreneurs, providing them with invaluable guidance and support across various aspects of their businesses. This position will manage the Juneau Center and provide business services to clients in the borough while working closely with the Rural Program to occasionally provide services throughout the Southeast region. The best candidate will have experience running a small business and working with entrepreneurs, a solid understanding of business finance, and the ability to interface with businesses, community partners, stakeholders, lenders, and policy.
Fairbanks Business Advisor
Are you ready to significantly impact the growth and success of small businesses in Fairbanks and North Pole? Over the last five years, client intake in the Fairbanks Center has skyrocketed by 81%, making the role of a Business Advisor pivotal in driving business growth and economic development in the region. Business Advisors work one-on-one with small business owners and entrepreneurs, providing invaluable guidance and support across various aspects of their businesses.
SBDC Business Research Assistant (Student)
The SBDC is looking for a research assistant to provide database clean-up, data completion, and light data analysis and assist with creating PDF tools and educational resources. The research assistant must ensure data is captured and classified correctly for reporting purposes and that all materials are kept confidential. Projects will include data entry with the highly confidential federal database of Alaska SBDC small business clients. Other projects may include business and industry research and creating fillable PDF forms.
