The mission of the Alaska Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is to advance small businesses in Alaska. Our vision is that our streamlined network of interactive tools and resources makes us the business community partner of choice helping businesses thrive and create a lasting impact. The Alaska SBDC has been helping businesses grow for over 20 years!
Running a successful business involves vision and preparation. We’ve assembled a timeline-oriented list of business strategy questions — grouped into five life cycle phases — that will get you thinking about solutions to challenges that may be just around the corner.
The Alaska SBDC provides workshops and seminars on many indispensable topics, from creating a business plan to mastering profits (and everything in between). Workshops are held in our six hub locations: Anchorage, Bethel, Juneau, Ketchikan, Soldotna and Wasilla. See the upcoming workshops available in your area.
The Alaska SBDC will be closed for the holidays December 23rd through December 27th and January 1st through the 3rd. We will be open December 30th and 31st. Closures may vary slightly in the outer centers- please make sure to check with your local SBDC center. Happy Holidays!
We share tips and tools, announcements of upcoming events and workshops, and other items of interest to small business owners.
We are active on social media, and strive to provide our followers with meaningful and timely updates.
The services of the Alaska Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are available across Alaska, thanks to the support of our valuable partners.
