The Importance of Local Search Optimization

June 12, 2017

If you have ever searched for a business on the internet, chances are, you have come across Google Places. With Google Places, local businesses are among the first results of your search query, assuming you have location services enabled on your mobile device. This provides a decisive edge to savvy business owners who go through the steps to list their business on Google Places.

Luckily, getting your business listed on Google Places is easy and can be done in just three steps!

1. Set up an account and submit the relevant information like: the address, phone number, email, hours of operation, payment method, offered services, images and even videos.
2. Verify your listing through phone or mail, and use the provided PIN from Google to claim the specified listing.
3. When this process is complete, your listing will be accepted by Google and can be viewed on Google Places.

Want to learn more about how Google Places can help your business? Join us on Wednesday, June 14th at 8:00am for a Google Livestream webinar. Pre-registration is required so register today!
