SSBCI February 2024 Update

With a loan value of over $30 million spread across 44 loans, Alaska SSBCI has successfully funded 42 businesses, positively impacting 20 communities. Notably, with four lending partners, the program has extended its reach to support 39 SEDI businesses, underscoring the importance of fostering economic growth and opportunities for marginalized communities.

With an average loan amount of $700,000 and a remarkable loan range from as low as $25,000 to as high as $8 million, the program’s efficiency, as it has facilitated a closing every 7.5 days, demonstrates productivity and effectiveness.
