The Good Dog was created to provide pet-owners with dog behavioral education and positive training skills for long-term success. Additionally, the Good Dog has a method to work with every kind of client including group socialization classes, phone consultations, group training, and private hourly training. There’s a solution for every pet-family with Ellis’ informative methods.

Further, the Good Dog offers AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification training and the test for pet-owners to utilize.

Alaska SBDC State Director, Julie Nolen, reflected on working with Ellis and shared that when he talks about what he does, it is clear that he is passionate about his work. “I’ve worked with Ellis for a couple of years now. He first came to me looking to buy a building to house his business for dog training. Then, he looked into buying an existing business (boarding and training). And, now he has finally settled into a really sweet spot of offering one-on-one training on-site with the owners. He also offers group hikes in the summertime!”
