Alaska Small Business Development Center

Alaska Premier Closets, LLC

Angela Pekich first approached the Alaska Small Business Development Center in Anchorage in 2011 as one of the owners of Alaska Premier Closets. Her husband had recently purchased the other 50% from the previous owner and they were now running the business on their own. They had decided to move the business to a new location with a beautiful showroom for their custom space saving furniture and were looking for help from Grant Larsen to better understand their financial statements and how they all worked together. Pekich also attended Profit Mastery in an effort to learn new tools that would help her optimize the cash flow for the business.Alaska Premier Closets 9590web

As the business evolves Pekich continues to check in with the Anchorage SBDC to fine tune her financial projections and input her latest statements into Profit Cents, a fee based industry data tool that the AKSBDC Business Advisers are able to provide to their clients at no cost.

“Grant has been great and is always willing to meet when I have a question” said Pekich, “It’s almost like talking with a friend who has a bunch of business knowledge. I would suggest meeting with an Adviser to any business owner”.
