ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Alaska District Office announces the top lenders of the SBA loan program in Alaska during Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 in three categories: Lender of the Year, 504 CDC of the Year, and 504 Third Party Lender of the Year.
These recognitions highlight outstanding contributions by lending institutions in supporting small businesses across the state. Through the SBA loan programs, participating lenders receive a federal loan guarantee that reduces lending risk and enables them to provide critical financing to small businesses and entrepreneurs – particularly in circumstances where conventional lending options may be limited.
“This recognition celebrates the pivotal role our lending partners play in strengthening Alaska’s small business community. Their leadership and commitment are instrumental in turning entrepreneurial vision into reality,” said SBA Pacific Northwest Regional Administrator Apollo Fuhriman. “SBA loan programs provide essential access to capital, and these institutions have gone above and beyond in fostering a thriving, resilient local economy. We applaud KeyBank, N.A; Evergreen Business Capital; and Global Credit Union for their notable achievements and express our deep appreciation to all SBA lenders for their continued partnership in supporting the backbone of Alaska’s economy – our small businesses.”
“Sincere thanks to our valued lenders – being named top SBA Alaska lenders is an honor, made possible by your dedication to serving entrepreneurs, supporting local growth, and expanding opportunities. You play a vital role in helping Alaska’s small businesses gain access to the capital they need to grow, thrive, and strengthen our communities,” said SBA Alaska Deputy District Director Erica Rivera.
