Join us for this On Demand workshop on “Starting a Business in Rural Alaska.”  During “Starting a Business in Rural Alaska” Ruth Wolfe, Rural Center Director at the Alaska Small Business Development Center (Alaska SBDC), will help guide you through the process of starting a small business in rural Alaska, using Nome as an example, including:

• business licensing and local rules;
• legal forms of business (such as Sole Proprietorship, LLCs, Corporations, etc.);
• business recordkeeping;
• managing money and bookkeeping;
• writing a business plan or building your business idea; and
• finding loans, grants, or funding.
