The State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) is a federally-funded program intended to attract lenders & investors to help with funding businesses that can’t get conventional business loans from banks & lending institutions.
The AK SBDC is the administrative lead on the program for Alaska, and will deploy the funding to lenders and investment funds.
Join us on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Alaska SBDC Training Room in Anchorage for “Disaster Recovery: What You Need to Know about the SBA Disaster Loan Program” presented by Bill Zagrocki, Recovery Coordinator for Region 10 under SBA’s Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience.
Disasters in Alaska can come in many forms, including earthquakes, volcanoes, windstorms, extreme cold, fires, oil spills, economic injury, or loss of physical property. This workshop allows you to hear directly from the US Small Business Administration (SBA) on their disaster loan program and other small business disaster preparedness and recovery resources available to small businesses.
