As demand for environmental services continues to grow, Integrity Environmental sought to expand its working capital in early 2024 to pursue new opportunities and maintain the flexibility needed to serve clients statewide. To support that growth, First National Bank Alaska partnered with the Alaska State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) through the Alaska Loan Guarantee Program. In February 2024, State SSBCI guaranteed 50% of a loan, giving the lender confidence to help Integrity Environmental invest in continued operations and growth beyond the state of Alaska.
This financing allows the company to continue providing essential compliance services and environmental expertise throughout Alaska. It also demonstrates how local partnerships and federal programs empower homegrown businesses to scale responsibly while contributing to Alaska’s long-term environmental and economic health.
“With help from the Alaska SSBCI, we secured a line of credit that let us expand our team and take on work beyond Alaska. That support helped move Integrity Environmental from an Alaska-based local firm into a regional environmental leader serving the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii,” said Integrity Environmental Owner Shannon Oelkers.
