June 15, 2014

UAA’s department of Corporate and Professional Development will be hosting s three-day class on the topics of Negotiations  taught by Frank Jeffries, PhD and professor at UAA’s College of Business and Public Policy.

Every day in Alaska, companies are involved in serious negotiations affecting every facet of their businesses, including interactions with customers, collaborating with suppliers, and problem-solving with subsidiaries by reaching successful agreements within their own organizations. Companies are literally walking away from millions of dollars annually as a result of poorly conducted negotiations. In this three-day
class, you will:

  • Experience a hands-on approach to developing and improving your negotiation skill set
  • Discover how to create value for both parties through collaboration
  • Learn how to effectively plan for negotiation and improve your individual outcomes
  • Develop effective tools for handling difficult negotiations

Scheduled for July 24th, August 7th & August 28th in Anchorage. For further information and to register, please contact Katie Abbot at 907-786-4519 or Steve Hinds at 907-786-4938.
