Frosty Feet Running Company the only full-service and specialized walking and running shoe store in Fairbanks. Owner Stacy Fisk is an ultra-marathon runner which served her well in the start-up process for her business during a global pandemic.

With several years of running a shoe department, serving as the Director for both the Equinox Marathon and HooDoo Half Marathon, and assisting with additional running events. Fisk was well-poised to start her own running shoe store. Working with the Alaska Small Business Development Center (Alaska SBDC) in Fairbanks allowed Fisk to fine-tune the financial projections and business plan needed to apply for a loan to make her dream a reality.
