In 2009, Dr. Kimberly Wonderlich began her career in Fairbanks by opening the very first dermatology clinic within the Bassett Army Community Hospital on Fort Wainwright. After retiring from the military, she desired to continue offering dermatological services to the Fairbanks community. While she already had top of the line medical training and years of experience under her belt, she had never owned and operated a private clinic, which ultimately directed her to seek guidance from the Alaska Small Business Development Center in Fairbanks.
