Local Business Selected by Goldman Sachs for 10,000 Small Businesses Program

FullSizeRender_2Alaska SBDC Success Story client, Adrienne Sweeney, owner of Driftwood Inn in Homer has completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Intensive Entrepreneurship Training at Babson. 120 entrepreneurs from 32 states, Washington D.C, and Puerto Rico were selected for the program which helps entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services. Babson has been partnering with Goldman Sachs and others on the 10,000 Small Businesses program since 2010 and their program is designed to nurture business growth. The small businesses in this group represent nearly 3,000 jobs from a broad range of industries.
