We will cover basic issues faced when starting a small business, such as business licensing, legal forms of business, business record-keeping, hiring employees, business planning, and access to financing. Kristine McRae, Rural Business Advisor with the Alaska Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will help guide you through the process of starting a small business.

- how to begin thinking about finances; and
