Patent Basics: Demystifying the Patent System (SBIR)
During this one-hour On Demand workshop, you will learn the difference between provisional patent applications and non-provisional patent applications. Jerrah Edwards, with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), will demystify the patent process – including the role of the U.S. Patent Examiner and what to expect when working with the USPTO. This presentation also includes information about patent prosecution programs and initiatives available to applicants.
