Commercializing Your New Invention – Licensing & Negotiating

This 40-min. On Demand workshop will be especially useful for inventors interested in licensing but don’t have past experience in securing licensing deals.  The commercialization of new technologies is a very difficult endeavor.  For new complex technologies or technologies targeting highly regulated markets, the developmental time is usually too long. Technology developers often lack the necessary skills and resources to bring these technologies to the market on their own. So… how do you solve this problem?  One possible solution is to license your technology to a strategic partner who can utilize its own resources and established customer channels to help facilitate the commercialization of your technology.  So… what is licensing, and what do you look for when considering licensing your technology to a “stranger?”
