Ann’s Discount Center:
One-of-a-kind Shopping in Ketchikan
Annabelle and Jon Clark, long term residents of Ketchikan, saw a need in the community for a discount retail store much like TJ Maxx or Marshalls. It took just a little over a year to bring it all together and Ann’s Discount Center was open in mid-April of 2017. Although the inventory is always new and different, the store continuously carries a selection of clothing, household items, small electronics, bedding, pet supplies, luggage, boots, toys, and more with the goal being to provide a wonderful experience purchasing high-quality merchandise at a significant discount.
When Ann and Jon originally met with the Small Business Development Center’s Director Kimberlee Hayward in Ketchikan, they were on the final stretch: obtaining additional financing, implementing a marketing strategy and finalizing their merchandising process.

It is Ann’s goal to be a shop that truly supports the needs of the Ketchikan community and for that reason, Ann’s Discount Center will hold merchandise until customer paydays and also do layaways.
