Larissa Boling took her vision of small business ownership and dedicated 2017 to launch her own beauty salon. To get started successfully, Boling connected with the Alaska Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for her needs and got started with a no-cost introductory class.
“I was very overwhelmed trying to start my business on my own. I knew I needed help prioritizing my tasks and help with project projections so I could budget correctly. There was so much I didn’t know, and I wanted to find out what I was missing. Turns out, there was plenty! The resources at the SBDC are absolutely invaluable to anyone looking to start a business, or do business, in Alaska.”
