TurboSBIR: Alaska SBDC Launches a New SBIR Resource for Technology Companies

May 16, 2023

The Alaska SBDC is excited to announce the launch of a new resource for businesses and innovators interested in submitting SBIR grants. SBIR grants are offered by various federal agencies to help fund and develop technologies that will benefit the nation.

While these grants are the largest source of non-dilutive funding a business can secure, the process to find, apply and secure these funds can be difficult and confusing.

That’s why the Alaska SBDC has partnered with TurboSBIR to give access to their AI driven platforms and services to Alaskan innovators. Businesses and inventors who participate in the TREND program will gain access to the platform and will be able to use it to identify the right SBIR/STTR grants for their innovation. The online platform will also help with research, grant writing, mentor feedback and more. Participants can also use the site to connect with other innovators nationwide to share best practices, leverage resources and more.

Alaskans have a long history of using creative innovation to solve problems. The Alaska SBDC is honored to be able to help support our state’s innovators and technology focused businesses to help bring that creativity and problem solving ability to the rest of the nation. If you’re interested in learning more, reach out to your business advisor today to get the full details and learn how to access the platform.
