The Alaska Small Business Development Center (Alaska SBDC) is partnering with the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP) High School Acceleration Academy for Career Exploration Week. On Thursday, May 9th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, students will explore the world of business planning and ownership. This event offers ANSEP students a unique opportunity to:

- Leverage the power of AI to create a compelling business plan
- Meet successful local business owners and hear their firsthand experiences
Students will learn about business planning with Alaska SBDC’s innovative AI tool and engage with local business owners. They will gain career exploration insights and explore small business ownership and management pathways. Students will visit local businesses to meet owners, learn about their journeys, and gain valuable insights into entrepreneurship by meeting with Pango Media, Wild Scoops Micro-creamery, and SteamDot Coffee Roastery. This event will provide insights into the vital role of small businesses in Alaska’s economy.
