State Director Jon Bittner headed to Fairbanks for the UAF Arctic Innovation Competition! This was his 13th time judging and he was blown away by this year’s creativity! Congratulations to all of the inspiring innovators!

Anchorage Center Director Carlos Machuca donned his Rotary International grill master apron for Star Wars Day in support the 55th annual Walk & Roll for Hope! Kudos to Hope Community Resources for their work!

ANSEP students attended a business planning workshop with Anchorage Center Director Carlos Machuca. Advisors Geoff Wright and Mike Daniels were guest speakers who shared insights on entrepreneurship!

ANSEP students and SBDC staff visited the Wild Scoops micro-creamery test kitchen and learned about starting a business, creative marketing, and the path to entrepreneurship from owner Elissa Brown.

During a visit to the SteamDot roastery, ANSEP students and SBDC staff met with owner Jonathan White to learn about the journey of coffee beans to AK, roasting process, local partnerships, and managing a business.

Anchorage Center Director Carlos Machuca attended The Waterworks’ open house to celebrate their new location and owner Kali Bennett’s reception of the SBA’s Small Business Person of the Year award!
