Fairbanks SBDC Open House and Networking Event
What a remarkable afternoon at the Wells Fargo-presented holiday event on December 11! Amid an energetic crowd of nearly 100 attendees, we proudly introduced Jade Greene, our new Fairbanks Center Director, and celebrated the relocation of SBDC’s Fairbanks Center to a new office space!
🎁 Amid the festive ambiance, we were also thrilled to be in on a special surprise: Wells Fargo’s generous gift of $5,000 each to five outstanding local businesses, a heartwarming gesture that truly ignited the holiday spirit.
It was an afternoon of shared enthusiasm, community spirit, and the promise of continued growth for Fairbanks businesses.

Shop Small Saturday
On November 25th, the Alaska SBDC collaborated with various organizations to promote local businesses on Shop Small Saturday.
Our team visited businesses across the state to emphasize the importance of supporting local, which is more than just making purchases. A simple like, share, comment, or review on your favorite local business’s posts can make a meaningful daily impact!
