The UAF Arctic Innovation Competition is Alaska’s original idea contest for innovators, creative thinkers and entrepreneurs. Ideas can be completely new, never invented or it’s something currently made, reimagined or improved upon. Started in 2009 by a CBSM professor, AIC awards over $45,000 in awards and scholarships. Ideas are judged on five criteria; utility, novelty, feasibility, value and presentation.
AIC invites innovators of any age to propose new, feasible and potentially profitable ideas for solving real-life problems and challenges. To find our complete list of sponsors, details on winning ideas and competitors or more information about the competition, visit the AIC website. The deadline for idea submissions is Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:59PM AKST.
