Alaska SBDC Hosts its Final COVID-19 Briefing

March 30, 2021
Last year, out of a dire need to disseminate information relevant to small business support and navigating the impact of COVID-19 on our communities, the Alaska SBDC began hosting daily briefings with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and The Foraker Group to ensure Alaskans had access to the most up-to-date information available. Special guests included the IRS,  Senator Lisa Murkowski’s office, Alaska Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development, the State of Alaska, and many others.

Some of you have joined us consistently from the beginning, others took topics of information as needed. Over 106 live briefings and 1,848 attendees, the information shared and conversations had have been invaluable. Regardless of how you joined us or how often, it is a testament to Alaskans coming together in unprecedented times to prevail.

We are happy to announce that the same dire need for information does not exist today. Alaskans are overcoming the impact of the last year and we are proud to be a part of this chapter and your journeys.

Our final briefing will be held this Wednesday, March 31, 2021. We invite you to join us, and we’re looking forward to a brighter season ahead as we all continue to work to recover and thrive.

From all of us at the Alaska SBDC, thank you.
