With President Obama’s visit to Alaska underway, NPR recently ran a story featuring our Partner Program’s Director Douglas Causey and the research he has been doing on seabirds. Causey’s program, Applied Environmental Research Center, works on contracts that bring federal dollars back to Alaska by utilizing our vast amount of experienced biologists and researchers to collect, analyze and apply environmental, natural and cultural resource data for optimal management of public lands. Check out the NPR feature here and learn more about the program here.
