Join us on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm for this Live Webinar workshop on “Starting a Business in Nome.”  During “Starting a Business in Nome,” Ruth Wolfe, Rural Center Director at the Alaska Small Business Development Center (Alaska SBDC), will help guide you through the process of starting a small business in Nome, Alaska, including:

• business licensing and local rules;
• legal forms of business (such as Sole Proprietorship, LLCs, Corporations, etc.);
• business recordkeeping;
• managing money and bookkeeping;
• writing a business plan or building your business idea; and
• finding loans, grants, or funding.
