Finding Potential Partners and Funding (SBIR)

This 41-minute On Demand workshop provides suggestions for how the ‘value proposition’ for your technology should be modified to make potential partners interested.  During this workshop,  you’ll learn about the importance of external funding, including two specific sources of external funding that may be critical at the early stages of technology development:

  • federal non-dilutive SBIR/STTR funding; and
  • third-party target/VC funding.


Dr. Izvolsky also discusses how to
:

  • identify a target for your financial or developmental support;
  • where to find financial or developmental support;
  • how to approach the funder; and
  • what questions you should ask the funder.
