The Kindred Post

You may remember us talking about the Kindred Post a few years ago and we haven’t been able to stop! Owner Christina Eriksen took the previous Miner’s Postal and opened the Kindred Post in 2014 to provide her community with a post office and gift shop in the heart of downtown Juneau.

Today, the Kindred Post has been hosting pop-up events in the gift shop and in doing so, brings another avenue of fun and an opportunity to connect. Recent events include a local artist featuring her work at First Friday and a mini-concert with local young musicians!

Coming up on 7 years of business ownership, Christina is beating the statistic that only 50% of small businesses remain in business. Christina’s passion for her work and her community keep her excited and engaged in her business after all this time. She shared with us that she loves Mondays because she looks forward to starting a new week and all of its possibilities!

Visit the Kindred Post at 145 S Franklin Street in Juneau, Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Also connect with Christina on Facebook, Instagram, and at https://www.kindredpost.com/.
