Pitch-Then-Plan
PitchThenPlan™ is a business planning technique that quickly translates business ideas into business plans. The goal is to clarify the business plan for the founder, resulting in a brief and simple summarization of the things that matter most.
The technique is broken into three phases:
- The Pitch: Framing The Idea
First, compile a specific set of 10 aspects to solidify your pitch, covering the essentials of the business and how it will operate. - The Plan: Doing Your Homework
Then expand each aspect, developing greater details. - The Numbers: Bringing It All Together
Take the money assumptions from each aspect and create a financial projection for the business.
